The Bride
Katherine O. Pivaral Toledo
Born and raised in Guatemala, she’s the proud eldest daughter and the definition of ambition and determination. A social scientist and self-proclaimed “people person,” she somehow manages to be a curious researcher, a tireless creator, and the life of the party—all at once. She loves to travel, crochet, and figure things out her own way (function always wins over perfection). Her wish for the wedding: that everyone has an amazing time, gets a taste of her beloved Guatemala, and takes home memories that last a lifetime.
The Groom
Nachiket Vatkar
Born in India and raised between Dubai and Singapore, he’s been a globe-trotter since day one—but a Desi munda at heart. An engineer who loves turning science fiction into science fact, he brings curiosity and creativity to everything he does. As the only child (and yes, the center of attention), he’s a total foodie who never misses a chance to try something new. He firmly believes that hard work can change the world. His hope for the wedding: that everyone gets a taste of what an Indian celebration feels like, enjoys his favorite food, and joins in the joy of this special day.
